Despite her injury, she will compete. "Nothing could stop me," she comments. Alongside hundreds of other high school cheerleaders from western New York, Thompson's team gathered for the Section V Cheerleading Winter Sectionals hosted at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., on February 8, 2014.
